About Us

The Eastern District Health Centre (EDHC) provides district-based primary healthcare services through health promotion, disease prevention, health assessment and consultation, and chronic disease management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, and musculoskeletal disorders) to enhance public awareness of self-management of health. The Eastern District Health Centre (EDHC) strengthens the involvement of individuals and communities, plans and coordinates among various medical and social sectors, and aims to encourage the public to take precautionary measures against chronic diseases, enhance their capability in self-care and home care, and reduce the demand for hospitalization.

The Health Bureau awarded a 3-year operation service contract for the Eastern District Health Centre (DHC) to The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation.
